Bitget launches Stocks 2.0 with 1:1 backed US stock tokens
Bitget launched Stocks 2.0, a tokenized stock spot product with 1:1 asset backing, deeper liquidity and USDT trading. It lists 36 US stocks and ETFs including Apple, Amazon and Microsoft.
Bitget announced Stocks 2.0, an upgraded tokenized stock spot product offering 1:1 asset backing, deeper order-book liquidity and direct USDT trading. The initial rollout lists 36 US stock and ETF tokens, including Apple, Amazon and Microsoft.
The tokens are issued by Reality, a licensed real-world-asset issuance platform. Bitget provides strategic support, trading access and asset security within its platform. Bitget says Stocks 2.0 connects tokenized trading to real equity market liquidity from multiple global channels to deepen order books and speed execution.
Eligible stock tokens carry a 1:1 economic mapping to the underlying shares. Traders can buy and sell the tokens directly with USDT. Cash dividends on the underlying equities are converted into USDT and credited to users’ accounts. Corporate events such as stock splits and reverse splits are applied to token positions so token holders’ economic exposure aligns with the underlying shares.
Qualified stock tokens can be held in unified accounts and used as margin collateral. Bitget allows connections to trading tools including spot grid, futures grid, copy trading and selected yield products. Availability of specific tokens depends on user jurisdiction and eligibility requirements.
On fees, Bitget reports a base rate of 0.1% and Maker/Taker fees of 0.05% for VIP tiers. Further fee reductions are available through offers tied to the exchange’s BGB token.
Bitget reported cumulative tokenized stock spot volume had surpassed $1 billion by January 2026 and that the exchange accounted for about 89% of Ondo-issued tokenized stock trading volume in December 2025. The company also reported tokenized stock futures have exceeded $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.
Gracy Chen, Bitget’s chief executive, commented: “Tokenized equities are the bridge crypto is building between global markets. By 2030, we could see over 10% of global financial assets to be tokenized, which will be fueled by platforms built by access, depth, and compliance.”
The launch follows Bitget’s earlier support for tokenized stocks, ETFs, stock futures and pre-IPO offerings. The 36 initial listings cover major US equities and ETFs; user access will vary by jurisdiction.
