BestEx launches Pulse AI for institutional trading analytics
BestEx Research launched Pulse AI, an AI-native interface linking Pulse Analytics to Claude and ChatGPT, with futures pre-trade live, equities in October, and broker-neutral TCA due Q1 2027.
BestEx Research Group LLC has launched Pulse AI, an AI-native interface that connects the firm’s Pulse Analytics suite to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. The company said pre-trade analytics for global futures are live now, equities pre-trade will be available in October, and broker-neutral post-trade transaction cost analysis (TCA) is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
Pulse AI links BestEx’s analytics platform to AI assistants used on trading desks. Traders can enter natural-language queries and receive answers based on the firm’s proprietary models, processed algorithm inputs and realized market data. Responses include supporting charts and interpretations generated by the system.
The system is designed to provide answers across the trade lifecycle. Pre-trade features for futures return information to help plan executions, while the scheduled post-trade TCA will apply a single methodology to all executions so results can be compared across brokers.
BestEx said the interface reduces time spent extracting, cleaning and modeling large data sets. Quantitative teams can request liquidity and cost analyses through the AI assistant instead of building the same reports by hand, and the tool returns visuals and model outputs that would otherwise be assembled manually.
Examples of pre-trade queries the system is built to answer include which instruments are most liquid at particular times of day, how spread and depth typically behave, how scheduled economic events affect order books, how fast a large position can be worked at different participation rates, and expected costs for different execution speeds. BestEx said answers reflect current market conditions because they draw on realized market data and the firm’s execution-cost model.
The broker-neutral post-trade TCA planned for Q1 2027 will apply one methodology across a buy-side firm’s executions. BestEx stated that using a single, consistent method will let traders compare broker performance under specific conditions, evaluate which strategies succeeded and identify where algorithm adjustments could reduce cost.
Pulse AI also supports automation. Traders can pose questions inside their chosen AI assistant or set an agent to run TCA overnight and deliver a broker-comparative report by morning, according to the company.
Hitesh Mittal, founder and CEO of BestEx Research, stated: “We built Pulse Analytics to support traders, quants and portfolio managers in complex decisions. With Pulse AI, a trader can chat with an AI assistant about execution quality or schedule an overnight TCA report to review broker performance at the start of the day.”
BestEx Research provides execution algorithms, trading technology and trade analytics for global equities and futures. Pulse AI adds an AI-native layer to the firm’s existing analytics suite to enable conversational access to pre-trade and post-trade execution analysis.
