&Partners adds $1B Chicago-area team from Wells Fargo

&Partners hired Principality Private Wealth, an Arlington Heights team that manages about $1 billion, led by Andrew Buchta, Charles Collins and Nicholas Bova.

On May 8, 2026, &Partners recruited Principality Private Wealth, a Chicago-area advisory team based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, that manages about $1 billion in client assets. The team is led by partners Andrew Buchta, Charles Collins and Nicholas Bova and includes six support staff.

The team’s book of business had been held at Wells Fargo. Buchta had worked at Wells Fargo since 1998, Bova joined Wells Fargo in 2015, and Collins began his career at Pruco Securities in 1994 before joining Wells Fargo in 2016.

&Partners, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, was founded in 2023 by advisors who left Wells Fargo. The firm lists 115 teams that previously managed nearly $56 billion at their former firms.

Principality Private Wealth will operate from Arlington Heights and transition its client relationships and supporting staff to &Partners’ platform. Neither the advisors nor &Partners provided comment at the time of the announcement.

The hire increases &Partners’ presence in the Chicago suburbs and raises the firm’s aggregate assets managed by recruited teams. Recruiting of experienced wirehouse advisors by independent and regional wealth firms remains active.
